Now, just because a creature is wearing a scarf, does not mean I will not use it in other seasons. I can use them to represent fall, and given the right coloring, the scarf could become a decorative one that is worn in the spring months as well. The only scarf-wearing stamp that feels the most stuck in wintertime is the Winter Bunny and that is because it is also riding on a sled. On the same thought, the penguin stamps on the Snow Cool set do feel more winter than summer, specifically because penguins are associated with the snow to begin with. Many of the holiday stamps I buy when I also see that they have elements to them that will make them easy to use anytime. For example, the set with all the coffee and tea only mentions the holidays once when it uses the phrase "Happy Holidays" in decorative writing. Sure, there is also a candy cane, but the rest of the items can be used at any time of the year.
bow. All the gifts that can be found in these stamps can totally be re-purposed for birthdays or other gift-giving holidays as well. That is what I love about these stamps; even though they seem to be pigeon-holed into one holiday and one season, you can find a variety of uses for them if you think and use your imagination. Feel free to check out my winter stamp collection in the slideshow below. These stamps were collected during the winter season of 2016, but some of them are older than that and were purchased directly from the Lawn Fawn site. If you fall in love with any of them, head on over to their page and check them out! Note: I am not sponsored by Lawn Fawn (I wish!) I just love their look and have had people ask me about them before. :) All images in the slide show are by Lawn Fawn.
